WS2811 60 LEDs/m RGB Addressable LED Pixel Strip Light 12V DC Programmable
The WS2811 is a three-output channel LED driver circuit. Internally, it has a signal reshaping amplification driving circuit and an intelligent digital port data latch. A precise internal oscillator is also included, as well as a 12V voltage configurable constant current output drive. For the purpose of reducing power supply ripple, the 3 output channels are designed to delay turn-on function.
A single NZR communication mode is used by the IC. Following the chip's power-on reset, the DIN port receives data from the controller, the first IC collects the initial 24bit data and sends it to the internal data latch, while the other data is reshaped by the internal signal reshaping amplification circuit and sent to the next cascade IC via the DO port. The signal is reduced by 24 bits after transmission for each chip.
The chip cascade number is not limited by signal transmission because of auto reshaping transmit technology; it only depends on the signal transmission speed.
The data latch of the IC produces various duty ratio signals at the OUTR, OUTG, and OUTB ports depending on the received 24bit data. When the DIN port inputs a reset signal, all chips synchronously send the incoming data to each segment. It will be updated with fresh information. Following the completion of the reset signal. The control signals of the OUTR, OUTG and OUTB ports were unaltered before a fresh reset signal was received. After receiving a low voltage reset signal, the IC supplied PWM data to the OUTR, OUTG, and OUTB ports, and the time retained was above 50us.
